A project I had on my mind since quite some time and today I finally got round to try it... :-)

Photograph of an exploding water ballon, shot in dark room with flash in approximately 45° angle below balloon.

Suggester Says: The execution is absolutely fantastic here. I really like the timing and how you can see a face, almost, thus making it more abstract. It's amazing how this is water from a popped balloon.

I came across this piece when it was first submitted, I think I was searching for low exposure photographs; when I came around this.

Unlike many other thousands of low exposure, balloon popping experiments, this one is a bit more unique in its vision and impact.

To start off, it looks like a face! :D and each of these artworks looks like something: Orange one looks like a snowman, green one looks like a man with headphones. Kudos to you for that man!

Secondly, the yellow color is one that keeps the attention of the user to where it is required.

Perfect timing, patience and your readiness to get wet are all part of this which we must admire! :)

You are a very brave man! Placing your camera UNDER THE BALLOON. You must have had to clean your lenses a good many times to get this shot!
